Sydney, 12 October 2006 – GLiNTECH, a local IT consultancy, specialising in application development, technical consulting and architectural services has secured the 19th place on this year's BRW Fast 100 List.
The BRW Fast 100 focuses on the fastest-growing companies in Australia and is a benchmark on the performance of the emerging-companies sector.
Dimitri and Desma Spyridopoulos, co-founders of GLiNTECH recently traveled to Melbourne for a BRW hosted cocktail party where it was revealed which place number each company secured.
Dimitri Spyridopoulos, Managing Director, said, "We're delighted with this achievement and very pleased with our success. We've seen immense growth over the past year and our team have worked diligently to keep up with the increased pace - this is wonderful recognition of their hard work."
GLiNTECH maintains that a large portion of their growth is attributed to implementing customised technology solutions on time and on budget, within the private sector, primarily financial services and telecommunications.
"Our focus over the past year has been customised solution services where we've used emerging technologies and techniques from both vendor lead and open source technologies. Clients are witnessing the enormous cost savings from the technology offerings we have suggested and are moving quickly to adopt them. This is an area where we believe there will be continued growth" says Spyridopoulos.
Looking to the future, GLiNTECH who isn't showing any signs of relenting is gearing up to go to market with their newest endeavour - a specialised Java EE Boot Camp.
The Boot Camp sessions will provide intensive, hands-on training of the latest IT frameworks to organisations who want to further enhance their existing IT systems and elevate their in-house development capabilities.
"Boot Camp will be received well by project managers, project team members and architects who don't have the time to skill up their development teams on the latest technologies. We're seeing a real need for this type of quick, technical ramp up and we're excited to bring it to the market" says Spyridopoulos."
GLiNTECH had a 2005-2006 turnover of approximately $7.2M and a turnover growth of 131.49%. They currently have over 50 full-time employees with offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
