Jira Administrator/Business Analyst | 3-6 month contract

We're looking for an excellent Jira Administrator/Business Analyst for a project we have ramping up for one of our clients in Melbourne. We're expecting you work directly with our customer onsite and take this project to new heights.

About you:

The right person will be agile and adaptable, with the ability to think quickly and deliver. Possessing both technical and soft skills. You're known for your strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and have the ability to think a little left of field & outside the box.

What will I be doing?

As a Jira Admin/BA, your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as a Jira & Confluence administrator

  • Possess soft skills in order to align different teams to a singular way of working

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to negotiate and influence change

  • Assisting the PMO & Transformation office in executing their strategy across the business

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on business needs and contribute to the technical design and development of business solutions

  • Delivering custom training content

  • Cross-platform troubleshooting experience

  • Producing and maintaining training documentation with impeccable communication and writing skills

  • Problem solving skills and knowing where to look for answers

  • Providing application support to our team across a variety of projects when not training

What skills will I be using?

You'll no doubt bring a lot of skills to the job, but here are the things you must have:

  • Jira & Confluence SuperUser/Admin experience (Portfolio for Jira is desirable)

  • Proven experience working in a large agile environment (SAFe is desirable)

  • Either Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Certificate III or above in Information Technology (or equivalent)

  • Some technical training delivery experience in small groups or online training experience

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to work against deadlines with a high level of attention to detail

  • Willingness to grow both technically and as an instructor

  • Ability to work independently

Also, experience in maintaining websites, the Atlassian Suite such as Confluence or Jira, and video production will definitely work in your favour!
