Support Engineer

    Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, our office is close to public transport, restaurants and shopping precincts. In our office, you'll find a mix of developers, technology experts, sales consultants and our operations team.

    GLiNTECH is growing! We are looking for Support Engineers to join our Sydney team. The right person will have experience working on support desks and take pride in solving technical problems.

    You will be working a 30.4 hours week on a full-time salary - four rostered days (three fixed weekdays with alternating Saturday or Sunday).

    About you:

    • You have previously worked on an IT support desk.
    • You are proficient in both Linux and Windows.
    • You have an understanding of SQL databases, networking concepts, and Java.
    • You have experience with the Atlassian tools, in particular, Jira (desirable).
    • You have working experience with AWS.
    • You have a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
    • You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
    • You are able to think quickly and deliver autonomously.
    • You enjoy working both in a team as well as independently to solve problems.
    • You have the right to work full-time in Australia.

    About the role:

    Reporting to the Support Manager, you will:

    • Become an expert in all the Atlassian tools and common marketplace apps.
    • Provide email and phone support from our GLiNTECH office to our partners, clients and staff around the Atlassian tools and supporting AWS infrastructure.
    • Plan and execute Atlassian product upgrades and migrations.
    • Handle Level 1 and 2 tickets including queries, incidents, problems and planned changes.
    • Contribute to the GLiNTECH knowledge base.
