Client Executive / Business Development Manager

Location: Sydney, Australia (Flexible WFH and office)

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be:

  • Making a significant contribution to GLiNTECH’s sales targets and related metrics (e.g. software sales, pipeline, billability).
  • Working with key account contacts and business partners to develop a vision for your customer
  • Navigating stakeholder relationships to progress sales conversations, cultivating deals, and bringing them in on time
  • Working with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and client outcomes that ensure the customer experience is always positive and optimal
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationships to cultivate your sales pipeline
  • Developing solution proposals including, responding to Request For Tenders
  • Managing the entire commercial process (e.g. quoting, invoicing, liaising SOWs, MSAs, working with procurement departments, ICT security)
  • Problem-solving for customers in a way that best positions our products and services

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • 8+ years working in either account management, presales, or related role (ideally selling or delivering managed services and/or practice areas related to cloud migrations, ITSM or agile software development)
  • 5+ years experience of complex/technical product and/or solution sales services and software solutions to senior stakeholders (e.g. Head of department, GM, C-level).
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders, including the development of high-quality presentation material
  • Degree in either IT, or business-related discipline (masters preferred)
  • Experience in working with CRMs (ideally Salesforce)

Our Hiring Process

  • After being shortlisted, you will receive a phone call so we can get to know you beyond your application. If you are successful to go to the next stage, you will be invited to attend a Zoom interview with HR and the Hiring Manager.
  • In this interview we will share our company vision, culture and team dynamics. We will chat about the position, opportunities for growth and hear from you more about your experiences and skills, why you are a good fit for this role etc. If we are all happy to progress to next stage, you will then have the opportunity for a 2nd Zoom interview.
  • This 2nd interview is about the technical aspects of the role. As part of the interview process, you are requested to undertake a task and you will be asked to talk through your approach to the task. Candidates who progress to final stage are the ones whose approach to solving the task shows analytical thinking. Presentation skills will not be assessed. A team member, the Hiring Manager and a Director will attend this meeting and if successful, an employment offer will be made within 72 hours.
