Retirement for 5 GLiNTECH Atlassian Marketplace Apps

As we prioritise our internal development efforts here at GLiNTECH, we have decided to retire several of our Atlassian Marketplace Apps. These apps have served our customers for a number of years but we have reached a stalemate moving the apps forward to cloud and increasing our economic return in the current market.  

In approximately 90 days, we will be retiring the following apps:

• Announcement Banner for Fisheye - Server
• Better Tiles for Confluence  - Server
• Breadcrumb for Confluence - Server, DC, Cloud
• Custom Button for Confluence  - Server, DC
• Redaction, Protect High-Security Content - Server, DC

Final Listing

On the 31st of October 2022, these apps will no longer appear on the Atlassian Marketplace and new licenses will not be available for purchase. All apps will continue to work in their host environment, for as long as a valid license is available and compatible with their host application. 

• The final compatible version of Confluence will be v7.18.x
• The final compatible version of Fisheye will be v4.8.x

Extending your license and alternatives

To continue using these apps beyond the 31st of October 2022, we would recommend renewing your licenses via the Atlassian Marketplace now to maximize the validity of the app. For those of you on Server licences where DC versions are available, we recommend you move to a DC license so support can continue beyond the 15th of February, 2024. 

Finally, a huge thank you to our customers who have renewed year upon year and taken the time and energy to provide feedback to get the best out of these apps. What they are today would not have been the same without you.
