Atlassian Cloud Pricing Is Changing, Here’s How to Prepare

On October 15, 2025 PT, Atlassian is increasing Cloud prices, and your bill could rise by up to 10%. This change affects Standard, Premium, and Enterprise customers, including products like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and more. It also affects customers still on Data Center (or Server) who are looking to migrate to Cloud.

Why are cloud prices increasing? These updates reflect Atlassian's continued investment in enhanced product capabilities, enterprise-grade security, scalable performance, and an optimised user experience in the Atlassian Cloud. Learn more about Atlassian's latest investments in the Cloud.

The good news? In some cases, you can still secure current pricing, but you’ll need to act fast (your eligibility is dependant on Atlassian’s complex pricing rules). Our team can help you understand your options and take the best path forward.

How Your Atlassian Costs Are Changing

From October 15, 2025, Atlassian will adjust Cloud list prices across the following products:

  • Jira: +5–10%
  • Confluence: +5–10%
  • Jira Service Management: +5–7.5%
  • Bitbucket: +10%
  • Guard: +5%
  • Teamwork Collection: +7.5–10%
  • Atlassian Government Cloud: +7.5–10%

Pricing will still vary based on your user tier and platform level.

Additional Guard changes:

  • Pricing tiers for 2,000–10,000 seats will align with Jira and Confluence Cloud tiers.
  • New tiers will now support up to 100,000 users.

Are You Impacted?

You will be affected if you are:

  • A current Atlassian Cloud product customer.
  • A Data Center (or Server) customer considering migrating to Cloud.

3 Ways to Beat the Price Increase

✅ Option 1: (Recommended) Finalise Your Quotes Before October 8, 2025 If you have an active quote, or would like to request one for new Cloud licensing, user or plan upgrades, or renewals, send us any changes immediately so we can process them before the deadline and secure your current rate.

💡 Option 2: Lock In Pricing for up to 24 Months Pre-purchase up to 24 months of Cloud licensing now and lock in today’s rates until 2027. (Atlassian quoting terms apply.)

⚠️ Option 3: (Not recommended) Purchase After the Price Increase If you wait until after October 15, all new transactions will be at the higher rates.

What to Do Next

To make sure you lock in today’s pricing:

  1. Submit all Cloud quote requests and changes by October 8, 2025, including any updates to technical contact details.
  2. Avoid making changes to your Cloud site after your quote is issued. adding/removing licenses or trials will cancel your quote, requiring a new quote to be created which will be at the updated rates.
