If you are about to embark on your Cloud Migration journey, the first step is to assess your requirements, especially your marketplace apps. GLiNTECH has made this step just that tiny bit easier for our Marketplace customers with the release of migration-ready versions of Terms and Conditions for Confluence and Better Blogs for Confluence.
These two apps can now included in the Atlassian Automatic Cloud Migration program and will appear as "Exists on Cloud" when you assess your apps.
Here is the step-by-step process to migrate your Terms and Conditions and Better Blogs for Confluence data to the cloud.
The Migration Assistant is found on the General Configuration page of Confluence.
On the Migration Assistant home page, you begin assessing your apps by clicking on the Assess your apps card.
Presented with a list of all installed apps, select the status of "Needed in Cloud" alongside Better Blogs for Confluence and Terms and Conditions.
You'll see here that the apps are marked with "Automated path". This link will take you to the migration documentation for each app.
Then confirm that you are happy to migrate the apps.
After the apps have been assessed, you will select Prepare your apps card on the Migration Assistant and step through each of the following screens:
The first step in Preparing your app is to Connect to the site you want to migrate your app data to.
Choose what to migrate.
Check for errors.
Review and Save your migration configuration.
Migrate! By selecting run, the migration process commences.
Selecting Migrate your data, the final card on the Migration Assistant home page will navigate you to the migration dashboard.
Here you will see migrations in progress, past migration successes, failures and any messages that need your attention.
