Atlassian Team ‘25 Recap: Everything You Need to Know
Team '25 was packed with exciting announcements, including Atlassian making Rovo standard across all paid plans, the new Teamwork and Strategy Collections designed to enhance the System of Work, and Isolated Cloud, a secure single-tenant hosting option arriving in 2026. Adding to the excitement, we celebrated GLiNTECH (a Valiantys company) receiving Atlassian's Partner of the Year award for Services (APAC) for the third consecutive year – one of three Partner of the Year awards for Valiantys.
Jeffery Candiloro summarises the updates he knows our customers in Australia will love:
Rovo for free across paid tiers!
Atlassian has announced that Rovo will now be included, at no additional cost, across all paid Atlassian cloud plans - including Standard, Premium and Enterprise. Rovo provides AI-driven search, chat, and agent capabilities, allowing companies to integrate over 50 third party applications such as Google workspace and Slack. New features such as Rovo Studio allow users to build customised AI agents and automations without the need for advanced coding.
This move aims to make AI tools more accessible to everyone using their tools.
Atlassian Collections: Strategy and Teamwork
As part of Atlassian's new Strategies of Work, two Atlassian application bundles were announced at Team 25 - the teamwork collection and the strategy collection. Designed to break silos and accelerate alignment from smaller to larger teams, these new bundles help teams move faster and stay aligned - whether they are building new products or shaping long-term goals.
Atlassian Cloud for Security Conscious Organisations
Atlassian made two great announcements for our regulated customers - Atlassian Isolated Cloud which introduces a new cloud deployment option designed to meet stringent security and compliance requirements and completion of the IRAP PROTECTED Assessment. The IRAP Assessment is available now and Isolated Cloud will arrive in 2026. These announcements address the final concerns for customers hesitant to migrate to Cloud and creates a pathway forward for them.
Loom AI
Loom can now be used in to record Zoom, Teams or Meet meetings. Once the meeting is complete, Loom’s AI tools can analyse the meeting, extracting key information and generating artefacts such as action items, documentation and recommendations.
Atlassian’s plans for 2025 have encompassed dynamic changes in AI through enhancing Atlassian product features to improve and optimise the digital experience and software collaborations amongst teams and individually.
