Onboard to Confluence Cloud

Overview

In this introductory course, an expert instructor will teach you how to create and share ideas, preserve knowledge, and collaborate in a centralised place.

Participants begin by learning how to navigate Confluence and create and collaborate on pages, live docs and whiteboards before progressing to organising, sharing and managing content. They will also explore how Rovo, Smart Links and macros can enhance content and bring information together in one central place.

The learning environment delivers engagement, retention, and collaboration, extending the benefits of an instructor-led course beyond instruction time.

Unlike a traditional two-day course, this learning pathway gives you the flexibility to schedule each module when it best suits your team. Deliver the training over consecutive days or spread it across several weeks, allowing participants to apply what they've learned between sessions and return with questions and real-world experience. This approach supports better knowledge retention while minimising disruption to business operations.

Learning Path

The Onboard to Confluence learning pathway consists of two progressive modules.

Each module builds on the previous one, giving participants the skills required to confidently create, collaborate, organise and share their work in Confluence:

1. Onboard to Confluence: Navigate and create content (6.5 hours)
2. Onboard to Confluence: Organise and share your work (4 hours)

Onboard to Confluence: Navigate and Create Content

Build a strong foundation in Confluence by learning how to navigate the platform, create and collaborate on content, and find the information you need. This module introduces pages, live docs and whiteboards, as well as tools such as Rovo, Smart Links and macros that can enhance content and collaboration.

Onboard to Confluence: Organise and Share Your Work

Build on your Confluence skills by learning how to organise and share information effectively. This module focuses on helping teams keep content easy to find, manage access appropriately and bring information from other applications into Confluence using Smart Links.

Audience

This learning pathway is designed for new and beginner Confluence Cloud users and anyonewho wants to confidently create, collaborate on, organise and share content using Confluence Cloud.
